Hello, everyone and welcome to my blog... Avant Gardens & Artwerx. My name is Lisa Patterson and I am a mixed media artist/floral designer living and creating in Bowie, Maryland. I love all things vintage and collect way more stuff than I can ever use. SHHH! Don't tell my hubby... actually, I think he might already know. I love to travel and wish I could jet off to beautiful and interesting places, but for now I'll tour through the fantastic world of Blogland.
One World One Heart is an amazing world-wide event... why you ask? Because, not only can you search the world of blogs and mingle with like minded people who you "get" and are inspired by, but you might even WIN some fabulous prizes just by posting a comment. I knew that the words Win and Prizes would grab your attention.
And now for the really important stuff...
It will take place from now until the event's end on Thursday, February 17th, 2011.
I will be giving away two pieces of my art. "Lovely"... a 9"x12" mixed-media art canvas and "Beauty"... a 9"x12" fabric wall hanging. Here are the pics of the prizes two of you will be lucky enough to win... if you are a blogger that posts a comment and the Random Number Generator selects your number.
1. Leave a comment with a link to your blog or your email address before midnight February 16th.
2. On February 17th, the winners will be drawn with the help of the random number generator and posted on my blog around 12PM. I will contact the two winners for their shipping info via email.
