It's One World One Heart time again. If you don't know what that means for you please, click this link and read all about the wonderful event, Lisa Swifka has created. Hello, everyone and welcome to my blog... Avant Gardens & Artwerx. My name is Lisa Patterson and I am a mixed media artist/floral designer living and creating in Bowie, Maryland. I love all things vintage and collect way more stuff than I can ever use. SHHH! Don't tell my hubby... actually, I think he might already know. I love to travel and wish I could jet off to beautiful and interesting places, but for now I'll tour through the fantastic world of Blogland. 

One World One Heart is an amazing world-wide event... why you ask? Because, not only can you search the world of blogs and mingle with like minded people who you "get" and are inspired by, but you might even WIN some fabulous prizes just by posting a comment. I knew that the words Win and Prizes would grab your attention.

And now for the really important stuff... 

It will take place from now until the event's end on Thursday, February 17th, 2011.

I will be giving away two pieces of my art. "Lovely"... a 9"x12" mixed-media art canvas and "Beauty"... a 9"x12" fabric wall hanging.  Here are the pics of the prizes two of you will be lucky enough to win... if you are a blogger that posts a comment and the Random Number Generator selects your number.

2. On February 17th, the winners will be drawn with the help of the random number generator and posted on my blog around 12PM. I will contact the two winners for their shipping info via email.

A new year and OMG... time really does fly the older you get. I can hardly believe that it is already nearing the end of January. So Happy New Year to all of you!!!

I've been spending my time slaving away creating samples for TENSeconds Studios using their new stamps and new molds. Which by the way I Totally LOVE!! Especially, the flower and paisley mold. Stop by their website for a look at all the fabulous new goodies. And here's a little peek at a few of the samples I made for them. Of course, if you are going to CHA (I'm so jealous) be sure to stop by their booth to see everything in person. I know you'll love the new stuff as much as I do. If you aren't going to make it to California maybe you can get to Fredericksburg, VA, I have a few samples at Scapdoodles. And I will be posting a few samples on their blog next week. I hope you will take a look and maybe even get inspired to create some art.
